Making Streets Safe for Our Smaller Citizens

St. Louis Children's Hospital offers Kohl's Safety Street for students Pre K through 5th grade, combining classroom lesson plans with an interactive, visually appealing scale-sized cityscape that children use to participate in learning.

Kohl's Safety Street is a St. Louis Children's Hospital community outreach program funded by a grant from Kohl's department stores.

Missouri child and teen death rates exceed the national average. Kohl's Safety Street program focuses on teaching children to navigate safely through their neighborhoods to reduce fatalities and injuries related to motor vehicles and other challenging street experiences.
